Last May, the Octopus Foundation was the guest of honor at the special evening organized by the\u00a0Inner Wheel Club<\/a>\u00a0at the\u00a0Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Nautique de Gen\u00e8ve<\/a>\u00a0(SNG). For the occasion, Daniela Freggi, director of the\u00a0Lampedusa Turtle Rescue<\/a>, joined the team of the Octopus Foundation with which she has\u00a0collaborated during several years<\/a>\u00a0to present her project.<\/p>\n

\"\"The conference was a great success. The Octopus Foundation presented its various missions and the guests happily showed their interest with their many questions.<\/p>\n

To end the evening, an auction was organized for several of Antoine Bugeon\u2019s drawings and Philippe Henry\u2019s photographs. Ariel Fuchs conducted the successful auction which totaled almost CHF 5\u2019000.-. For Julien Pfyffer, president and founder, this evening was the concrete result of a long-lasting project. \u201cThe funds we raised will help to finance future projects,\u201d he says. \u201cI wish to thank the Inner Wheel Club for their warm welcome, as well as all the people who were present for their generosity and support.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
